Flutter Entertainment plc is a global sports betting and entertainment provider with over 14 million customers worldwide. The business has 20 offices globally and employs over 14,000 people.

Staverton has been the principal furniture supplier to Flutter companies for over five years — helping them transition from traditional office space to a more agile and hybrid workplace. The Dublin headquarters had to be significantly increased to accommodate staff growing from 1,300 to over 2,000 staff during two years.

The business needed to leave its existing building for over 12 months while the new space was constructed. We provided all new furniture for their temporary swing space with a view that everything supplied would also be appropriate to relocate into the new space once finished.

The end result was an impactful product and environment, giving the client exactly what they required: space utilisation and staff interaction.

BT chose Staverton to work with and support their Better Workplace Programme. The mission: modernise, enable collaboration, create efficiencies, and better serve customers.

The Better Workplace Programme is a five-year UK-wide venture. The aim is to improve and consolidate BT’s footprint of more than 300 locations to 30 — including corporate offices, contact centres and specialist sites.

BT’s vision is to design vibrant state-of-the-art workplaces designed to give their employees the best environments to collaborate, create, and innovate.

Our highly flexible 88 Table Collection has fully met BT’s brief to provide attractive, functional, and cost-effective tables across a wide variety of table settings.

When BT Group asked us to support their Better Workplace program as well as aid collaboration, improve functionality and deliver a strong aesthetic, we responded with more than 40 tables of different shapes, sizes, heights and finishes across a wide variety of work settings. This was a sizeable design project, and our work was aided by the flexibility of our CAD/CAM packages. We approached BT Group’s brief with creativity and our trademark of quality workmanship and attention to detail

TalkTalk’s largescale call centre required minimalist bench workstation, enabling flexible occupation for employees working multiple shift patterns. There were further requirements to provide training and audiovisual furniture solutions.

Staverton designed ultralight 3.6m bench workstations. They are continuous single-piece worksurfaces to avoid partitions between staff. This led to the client’s request for single 3.6m dividing screens to complement the worksurfaces.

We also redesigned the desk substructure to incorporate a single and movable central leg for the 3.6m bench workstations. Power can be picked up at any point within a 1000mm of the centre line, without the need to relocate floor outlets.

When TalkTalk was planning an office move, it was important to reflect their ‘digital first’ culture within the workplace. TalkTalk was looking for a space tailored to their staff‘s specific needs — both now and in the future. Staverton designed meeting and collaboration furniture solutions — and catered for TalkTalk’s audiovisual needs. The desks are a bench furniture system to allow for flexible working and prevent partitions between staff. Staverton met everyone’s requirements perfectly

Staverton furnished Sky Betting and Gaming’s new Leeds headquarters. The landmark eight-floor building needed an inspirational workspace for over 1,000 staff.

The client wanted to incorporate a variety of work settings to allow their staff to engage with the business in many different ways. There was also a desire to create as much breakout furniture as possible. The desking needed a refresh, so we formed new worktops and sit-stand workstations with organic shapes to match each other.

A significant amount of work was undertaken with the client team to provide beautiful and functional spaces. The seventh floor included an amphitheatre, training rooms, IT help desk, and café.

We fully embraced the client’s needs, often making adjustments to standard products to ensure the furniture precisely met the requirements of the business. The result is stunning and has helped staff embrace returning to the office.

I have worked with Staverton for almost two years now and what sticks out for me is their fantastic attention to detail. This is where Staverton really excel, ensuring that every element of the user’s requirements and experience are considered throughout. Furthermore, what I also admire about Staverton is their ability to provide a huge range of optimal solutions. The Co-operative Group required a bench workstation for its new Manchester head office that would manage all power requirements above floor level and reflect the open-plan design aesthetic.

Staverton designed CL, a bench which houses a power distribution unit in the intermediate leg and saved the client more than £250,000 in electrical installation costs. CL also offers inset-desk top power for easy plug and play, optional sliding top access to concealed cables and worksurfaces that appear as if they’re floating.

Our challenge was to find a bench solution that could offer integrated power and data, protect the design aesthetic in our new head office and create flexible working spaces. Staverton CL achieves this and surpasses everything else on the market. It was borne out of collaborative and clever thinking – Staverton really listened to our brief
